Steve Bender of Ickle Pickle produced an effect called “Jumping Signed Bill” and during my time as a magic dealer in Germany I sold hundreds of the Ickle Pickle product. It is well made and easy to set up.
Magiro’s trick Geldschein Wunder is very similar. and was released during the same time. Since I never heard any controversy at the time I would suggest that they were developed independently. The ickle Pickle product is spun aluminum and in my humble opinion is the better version.
Having said this the Magiro collector will want to add this to his collection for completeness. It was sold thru Eckhart Boettcher’s Zauberbutike.
A spectator’s bill, which he signs or marks, is placed inside a 9″ silk with a rubber band. The silk, rubber band and bill are then placed inside a glass. The glass is covered with an aluminum tube. Before you can blink, the bill has jumped from one tube to the other. But even more amazing, the opening of the second glass is now covered with the 9″ silk which is held on by the rubber band and the bill is inside the glass under the silk. And, yes, the spectator removes the band and the silk to discover that it is, indeed, his SIGNED Bill.
A copy of the Geman instructions are included as well as English instructions.
