Eckhard Boettcher of Zauber Butike commissioned Thomas Pohle to manufacture a series of fine Close-Up Magic which matching decorations which was released under the name “Red Pearls”. Each trick in the series was sold individually and they later formed a Close-Up act. I have combined two of these items here as they both can be performed together one being a card appearance, the other a disappearance.
“Clou” is a version of a “No Feke Card Frame”: Front and Back Door of a miniature cabinet are opened and it can be seen that it is empty. A spectator than gets to hold the cabinet and when it is opened again a card has appeared.
“Star” is a version of the Jack Hughes Card Go. A card is seen in a frame, it is briefly covered with a silk (not supplied) and then the card has vanished.
Both come with their original German instructions. Since they are both well known Standard props I am not providing English instructions.
Please note that the little ball feet have been re- glued previously which does not impact performance or appearance.
The playing cards are not supplied and need to be small (approx.. 2.5 x 1.5″ ). You could also trim a picture to that size and use it instead.
