This set was purchased as the combination originally in the 1940’s it is guaranteed to be the original Merv Taylor set and includes the large glass, the stainless steel tiny pitcher and the original four shot glasses (actually there is a fifth glass).
The metal pitcher has a liquid controlled valve that automatically closes when it is tilted 90 degrees or when the hole in the side of the can is covered with the thumb. Each time it is poured it will appear empty. The 3 1/2 inch tall POR-MOR pitcher will fill 4 shot glasses and the (gimmicked) 22 oz FIL-MOR malt glass!
Pour after pour it gets more and more amazing. this is not a Lota. you control the flow at all times or it is controlled automatically. this comes with the original instructions. all the ads and instructions are t it is a complete package in very good used condition. The red and black original packing Box (with Merv Taylor sticker) is included but not in great shape!
Note: I am aware that this was supplied with six shot glasses at one point. However this early version has been supplied with four as evidenced by the instructions. We are including one extra matching shotglass.
The metal pitcher is hallmarked (engraved) on the handle with the Merv Taylor logo.
Nice early version of the trick.
