Kids love this trick!

Show a large black and white picture of a cute clown. Then show a large, empty, wooden picture frame. Place the picture into the frame. Explain that with some help from the audience, you will magically color in the picture. Turn the picture back to the audience. Have the kid(s) toss “invisible” colors towards the picture. Then, turn it around. WHAT’S THIS ! ? ! ? It has not colored in. Of course not! You left out the magic words! You ask the kids to shout the words and, as you remove the picture from the frame, it visibly colors in! That’s right, as the picture comes out of the frame, they actually see the colors appear!

The effect is astonishing!! You can make the colors appear slowly or quickly, all at once or a little at a time.

Visible Color Painting is a great kids’ trick! It is totally mechanical, and comes with English instructions that turn this into a multi-minute routine.
