I found two of these in a corner of the warehouse. They were released by my friend Hardini in Germany who unfortunately passed on a couple years ago. The premise is interesting and has lots of potential including in bizarre performances.
The aged looking box that is the centerpiece of the performance lends itself well to a story about alchemists and how they have long tried to change coal to gold but where unsuccessful…. today you want to make an experiment on your own and introduce the box. It is opened and a velvet handkerchief is removed and the inside of the box is shown empty. The box is closed again and the handkerchief draped over the box.
Next six large cards are introduced that have the following depicted on them: Gold, Smoke, Fire, Water, Stone & Metal.
One of them is selected by a spectator. Lets say it is: Smoke….. when the handkerchief is removed and the lid is opened than the audience can see that it is now filled with thick, white smoke.
You receive the special box which is self-contained and has been specially prepared for the smoke to be produced within, the handkerchief and the six cards together with detailed English instructions.
