These very intricate wooden props that were made in Eckhard’s heydays have become thought after collectibles for those in the know. This is in mint condition and was part of the Close-Up treasures collections. Thanks to the precision props the performance can be achieved almost automatically, there are no difficult sleights involved. The performer introduces four small, nicely decorated dice that show the suit of a card on one side, all the other sides are white. Two wooden tubes that fit over a stack of two dice at a time are also introduced. Of course dice and tubes can be shown on both sides. The two dice decorated with the black symbols are tacked and covered with one of the tubes, then the same happens to the two red ones. Immediately the performer lifts both tubes and each stack has now a red suit and a black suit, so two dice must have migrated…..this is repeated, the performer again stacks tow black suits and covers them and then the two red suits and covers those as well……when the tubes are removed it is seen that one of the dice on each side again has changed places. This time both stacks are covered up immediately and when the tubes are removed all is back in order with spades and clubs on one side and hearts and diamonds on the other. The dice are approx. 2″ and the set is great for Close-Up performances. The secret is built into the dice and there are no separate parts (overlays or shells etc.) that need to be handled. We supply the original German instructions and as a service to our buyer we will also provide a detailed English translation. This set is a great conversational piece for a magic collection but also a pleasure to perform.
