This is the most practical of Anverdi’s creations! Still thought after even today not only by collector’s but also working professionals!
The magician shows a handsome chest measuring approx. 6 1/2″ wide x 3 3/8″ deep x 4″ high and demonstrates it may be closed with a key lock.
An item may be placed in the chest and closed followed by locking with key and this key is placed in a small box along with other keys. The keys are mixed together and dropped from the box onto the table giving the spectator a free choice to choose one of the keys and if correct may have the contents of the chest. Sad for the spectator the key does not effect the opening of the box. The magician kind hearted gives the spectator another chance and this too ends with the same result. This continues until only one key is left and the magician states he has already given the spectator six chances saying In all fairness the last one should be the key for the magician. To show all is fair the magician allows the spectator to take the last key and try it in the lock to which is found the successful one and the chest is opened!
This is certainly one of the crown jewels of Anverdi’s Manufacturing Career and this was an improvement in that the key container could travel inside the chest also serving another purpose that the winning bidder of the chest will discover. Includes illustrated instructions taking you on a fulfilling journey into the specialty of Anverdi and his Magic.
Condition this was in storage for at least 30 years and when batteries were put in the units do not communicate.. Likely the frequencies will need to be matched up between the chest and key box, however the issue could be anything else. This is being sold in as is non working condition even though it appears to be in good condition. The key box has a small piece glued back that appears to have broken off before and it now looks like a small crack. This is optical and does not impact the performance.
