Hydro Die “large” – Magiro / Zauber Butike

Magiro’s Hydro Die is one of his more popular creations and so it should be as the effect is strong. I have handled many of them over the years and collector’s and Close-Up performers always are intrigued.

I was not aware that this was made in a larger version by Magiro as well but here it is, first one in that size that I have ever seen. The die is roughly 1.25″. Eckhart Boettcher referred to it as the parlor version, I wouldn’t go that far but it is definitely bigger than the regular ones. The base and lid are vacuum formed plastic.

The effect is the same than in the smaller version.

A die is tossed into a clear tube and then water is poured over the die. A opaque tube is then placed over the clear one and all is closed off with a lid. Some magic and when the lid and tube are removed the die has vanished. Of course the audience can look thru the opaque tube, it is really gone. Make it re-appear from your favorite location.
